Recognizing that existing tools for teachers were often difficult to use, RIIID Labs set out to develop an in-house platform specifically tailored to meet teachers' needs, allowing them to focus more effectively on their students.
Our team embarked on a mission to identify the challenges teachers were facing and to design innovative solutions curated for teachers.

We analyzed competitor websites and consulted with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for differentiation and define how we wanted our platform to stand out.

Designed for Educators, Driven by Students
During challenging times, teachers were suddenly forced to transition from in-person teaching to fully online classes. Many existing software solutions only added to the complexity, making it harder for educators to adapt to this new way of teaching. Our mission was to develop an intuitive, teacher-centric tool from the ground up—designed to simplify online instruction and meet the specific needs of educators.

To address the teachers pain points, we focused on ensuring they could quickly view both the overall performance of their class and individual student performance at a glance. Additionally, we made it easy for them to identify students who might need extra support.

ASSIGNMENT STATUS
One of the main challenges teachers faced was the difficulty of organizing class assignments efficiently. Our solution was to implement a simple board approach that displays assignments chronologically, highlighting which ones need grading. We categorized assignments into three distinct groups, allowing teachers to move assignments between categories effortlessly as they progress through grading.

Designed to support integrations that truly benefit teachers, our platform includes tools like Clever, which enables teachers to quickly add school data, set up their digital classrooms, ensure robust security, and seamlessly sync student rosters, among other features.
